Lynxiene is a very hyper-driven female. She may be small but she packs in quite a punch. She lives for protection work and will bite anything, anytime, anywhere: sleeve or suit. Although she's been training for sport...she also serves as my personal protection dog outside sportwork venues.

She does enjoy obedience, granted she does it mostly for some kind of reward, but she also seems to find self-satsifaction in the work itself. She's very attentive and constantly thinking, anticipating the next command. Now, being apart of the family, as she is, she at times has an attitude problem. Which can be easily "fixed" with a quick, firm correction and she takes correction well. She's handler sensitive and yet resilient.

She normally carries a happy and social disposition, however at times social intolerance amongst strangers is prevolent. Amongst other dogs, she can co-exist with and around them but on her terms. She's been able to do "doggie intros" and is content to remain in her "bubble". She's not a fan of having her space violated by strange dogs. She plays best with other medium sized male dogs...but is more willing to innitate play rather then accept it. She can be bossy, pushy and a bit of a bully and yet be gentle & flirtatious when she feels like it :) .


We've dabble in a few venues...AKC Rally, Obedience, Conformation (preparation for the show circuit), Agility, Herding & French Ring. However, we are currently training in Schutzhund.
